Happy New Year, 2020!

Wishing you good times, good cheer, and a memorable new year.

Hello CCS Global Tech and Helm360 clients, partners, family, and friends,  Amazingly, December is here again. Across the world, this month is a major holiday season. Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, and the New Year have our neighborhoods ablaze with lights, holiday music filling the air, and everyone gathering to celebrate with family and friends. It’s a joyous time to count blessings. It’s also a time of reflection, gratitude, and looking forward.

In my seasonal reflection on CCS Global Tech’s journey, I’m pleased to report that it was a particularly big year for this company and the community that comprises it. I’d like to share some of our top highlights so you can celebrate with me! In the spirit of traditional end-of-year lists, here’s a recap of our biggest accomplishments in 2019.

Helm360

It was a busy and successful year for our Helm360 team. In addition to launching a Managed Services offering for Elite 3E customers and delivering a variety of large projects for customers across the globe, the team successfully kicked off a new ProLaw product partnership with Thomson Reuters for Termi, our AI-based BI chatbot solution for the legal market.

These exciting developments dovetail nicely with our TR Implementation Partner status and our new Data Extraction Service. To support the growing workload, we formed a new Consulting Services Team led by Skye Goodrich, which includes Thomson Reuters-assigned consultants and the Data Engineering group. Finally, the Helm360 team is proud to report that many top-tier law firms attended their first major client event hosted in London this past fall.

We opened a new office in San Isidro, Costa Rica this year. The wonderful team we’ve built there not only helps expand the company’s global presence but also allows us to further deepen our pool of professional IT expertise as well as position ourselves as part of the growing Costa Rican tech economy and community.

Learning Academy

The CCS Learning Academy continued to expand its offerings and reach this year. We are now providing technical and non-technical courses to over ten new government accounts, reaching over 250,000 government employees and giving them access to achieve their professional goals. Our CCS Learning Academy is deeply connected with the local communities we serve, and our Veteran Talent and Development Bootcamp is going strong. We have partnered with multiple Veteran community organizations nationwide to build a robust and diverse labor force, enhancing transitioning veterans in bridging the gap from armed service to our clients’ key IT projects. There is even more in store for the Learning Academy team in 2020.

Our Military and Veterans Program made significant strides this year. Most notably was their successful collaboration with Microsoft Software & Systems Academy to launch Veteran Talent Development Cohorts. They also sponsored the Annual Veterans Employment Committee Job & Resource Fair in San Diego, CA. On a day-to-day level, they continued to establish employer partnerships with military non-profits and training vendors as well as increasing their visibility in the community via professional development workshops for transitioning veterans. They also got many of us out of our chairs by encouraging us to participate in the Hire Heroes Run for Heroes 5k race.

Talent Development Program

Our Talent Development Program (TDP) also had a good year, a notable milestone being the initiation of the 100th batch of upcoming IT consultants! The TDP team developed a Student of the Month program to recognize outstanding candidates and worked hard to foster closer relationships with various universities. Due to the efforts of our trainers, the new People Relationship Managers, and other staff, our company rating from consultants has risen significantly!

Government

Finally, our IT consultants continue to do amazing work all over the world, and in 2019 we won several large contracts with the City and County of San Francisco, including major work at the San Francisco International Airport. Our new Government Division signed eleven Master Contract Agreements in the United States this year. The work includes professional IT services, staffing, consulting, and training for the State of Louisiana, Santa Clara County, the Los Angeles Department of Transportation, and the City of Long Beach. Along with establishing other key partnerships, we also launch our Costa Rica support infrastructure for Government recruitment. This team is already on a roll, and they’re just getting started!

I’m happy to say that these successes have also brought new faces to our offices; the CCS family is growing! As we expand, our People Success Team has worked hard to improve our internal processes and keep our corporate culture vibrant, inclusive, and relevant. The Marketing and Communications team led by Arti Shama, our Director of Digital Strategy & Innovation, redesigned and launched our new website and is working to strengthen our digital presence even further.

Looking back at 2019, I feel a great sense of pride and gratitude for all we have accomplished. To all our clients and partners: thank you for choosing to work with us. Using our talents to help you realize your dreams is truly gratifying, and we look forward to doing bigger and better things with you in the future. And to everyone at CCS Global Tech and Helm360: thank you for your dedication, talent, and creativity. You are the heart of this company.

Happy holidays to all, and best wishes for the new year!

Sincerely,
Raminder Singh
